Features of the TREAD design:

    • Very small board: 1.95" × 1.1" (50mm × 28mm)

    • Works with any of the LM317 family regulators including the LDO variants. (LM1086, LT1085...)

    • Professional circuit board available, with 1.5 ounce copper.

    • Two boards can be combined to make a dual supply.

    • Adjustable output voltage.

    • Regulator at board edge to allow bolting board to large heat sinks.

Why is it Called "TREAD"?

Because I want people to think that they could have had STEPS, but they only got a TREAD. Damn, I'm funny.
